A New Bridge Connects Two Villages in Rubira

For the residents of Kabeza and Rubira Villages, a simple journey between the two communities was once anything but simple. Without a proper crossing, people — including school children — were forced to take long detours or navigate difficult terrain, especially during the rainy season.
In March 2025, that barrier was removed.
Ejo Youth Dignity Foundation completed the construction of a bridge connecting Kabeza and Rubira Villages — a project that has quietly transformed daily life for hundreds of community members.
Students now travel to school more safely and arrive on time. Community members move between villages with ease. Farmers can access markets without the long detour. In emergencies, help can arrive faster.
Infrastructure like this rarely makes headlines. But for the people who cross this bridge every day, it represents something profound — a community that is no longer cut off.
